Hi all!  Hope you’re gearing up for NVIS antenna day on the 23rd!!  This promises to be a lot of fun, we’re looking forward to it. Details are on the SEC/ARES page of arrl-ohio.org.  WE NEED TO SEE YOUR COUNTY ON THE AIR!!!  This will give us numbers to show the state and others our capabilities for emergencies!

Here are the monthly comments for March- I always enjoy reading what’s going on in your counties. There is a correlation in these reports:  there is a large number of counties who are NOT holding any training at all. Their memberships show to be very small.  The more you train, the more active you are will result in increasing interest and activity for your members…your numbers will grow.   EC’s need to be proactive in your relationships with served agencies. Check in with your EMA, your health department, Red Cross and others regularly!  Get active, re-ignite the spark. It’s important.

Excellent work to all who made the Skywarn training!  This is something we should do every season. We can directly contribute to the safety of our families and our neighbors!
