Comment
(Two districts missing from totals.) ARES was involved in a number of important drills, including a FEMA-evaluated nuclear plant drill, several multi-county hospital/disaster drills which involved loss of Internet/phones. Several emergency activations were logged, including Richland County's temporary loss of 911/telephone service. Like other sections, we're beginning our public service season with several large scale bicycle rides (using linked repeaters, broad coverage and multiple operators). ARES was visible at Dayton, with a presence at the ARRL booth and a well-received ARES seminar.
